Crimea has approved the budget for next year with a deficit of 22%

Moscow. December 25. The state Council of Crimea at a meeting on Friday approved the budget of the Republic for 2016 with a deficit of 19.3 billion rubles, or 22.3% of spending, the correspondent reported from the meeting of the state Council.

Budget revenues are to amount to 67,35 billion rubles, expenses – 86,65 billion. In the structure of revenues of 43.5 billion rubles, or almost 65%, will be grants, subsidies and subventions from the Federal budget.

Reserve Fund for 2016 is approved in the amount of 300 million rubles.

The Minister of Finance of Crimea Vladimir Lewandowski at the meeting noted that the largest expenditures of the budget will be spent on education (22 billion rubles), health care (17.5 billion), the economy (17.3 billion), social policy (14.8 billion).

The Council of Ministers of Crimea has approved the draft budget on 8 December. Then Lewandowski called the deficit of 19.3 billion rubles technical. According to him, the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation in March 2016 will submit a proposal to the state Duma on increase of subsidies to the Republic for the same amount, until that time, the region will use the loan budget of the Ministry of Finance.
