Moscow. December 25. The economic development Ministry sees no problems for the Russian economy in case of introduction of Ukraine trading contracti, said the first Deputy Minister of economic development Alexey Likhachev.
“No, we will easily make the substitution,” he said, commenting on a possible stop of export of Russian metals and products of chemical industry, which currently has the largest volumes in the range of exported goods.
Likhachev recalled that the overall trade between the two countries has fallen by 70% in comparison with 2011, when it had the largest dimensions. The trade balance, if you remove a gas component, has always been in favor of Ukraine, he added.
“Actually, Ukraine is losing any more”, – said the official.
As reported, yesterday the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law allowing the Cabinet to apply the measures in the sphere of foreign economic activity in response to discriminatory actions of the “aggressor state” in Ukraine.
