PJSC “Severodonetsk Association “Azot” and PJSC “Concern Stirol” will return the debt to “Naftogaz” within 24 months after the end of hostilities in the Donbass, said in the message “Naftogaz”.

KYIV, 25 Dec. Two enterprises of the group — PJSC “Severodonetsk Association “Azot” and PJSC “Concern Stirol” will return the debt to “Naftogaz” within 24 months after the end of hostilities in the Donbass, reports the press service of “Naftogaz” on Friday night.

The NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” and Ostchem in September signed a global agreement — the parties agreed on repayment of debts before “Naftogaz” until February next year. Ostchem until February was to pay “Naftogaz” is about $ 130 million. However, on Friday Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that enterprises of Ukrainian businessman Dmytro Firtash (Ostchem) repaid the debt to the company.

According to “Naftogaz”, it is about repayment of debts of the two companies — PJSC “AZOT” (Cherkassy) and JSC “Rivneazot”.

“The debt of two companies of the Ostchem group, PRJSC “Severodonetsk Association “Azot” and PJSC “Concern Stirol”, which now does not carry out production activity, because it is in or near the area of the ATO must be repaid in equal installments over 24 months after the end of hostilities”, — stated in the message “Naftogaz”.

The company also thanked the Ministry of internal Affairs and Minister of the interior Arsen Avakov for the efforts to settle this dispute and progress in the implementation of commitments for the group, recorded with a settlement agreement.
