The delay of Russians on credits for the first time since the beginning of the year decreased


The late citizens of more than 90 days in the period from 1 January to 1 November rose by 24.4% and amounted to 1,168 trillion rubles. The share of overdue loans in total loans increased by 2.9 percentage points to 10.8%.

MOSCOW, 25 Dec. The total delay of homogeneous loans that banks have provided to the citizens, in November for the first time since the beginning of 2015 declined from the Bank of Russia.

The late citizens of more than 90 days in the period from 1 January to 1 November rose by 24.4% and amounted to 1,168 trillion rubles. The share of overdue loans in total loans increased by 2.9 percentage points to 10.8%.

In November, the first delay stopped growing and even declined by 5.5%. Its share in total loans remained at the same level of 10.8%.

“Implementation of retail lending risks associated with the high pace development of the sector unsecured loans in the 2012-2013 year has come to an end. Starting from 2014 banks give unsecured loans the quality of which is characterized by a much higher quality from the point of view embedded in them the credit risk,” explained the changing situation on the market of retail lending marketing Director of National Bureau of credit histories (NBCH) Alexey Volkov.
