Budget funds will be allocated to the most socially and economically developed regions of the country. Assessment of socio-economic development is based on indicators of efficiency of activity of bodies of Executive power.
MOSCOW, 25 Dec. Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree establishing rules of granting of interbudgetary transfers the most socially and economically developed regions of Russia, the document is published on the website of the Cabinet on Friday.
“There were approved the Rules of granting of interbudgetary transfers from the Federal budget to budgets of subjects of Federation, have achieved the best results on the socio-economic development of territories, and the methodology of assessing socio-economic development of territories”, — stated in the help document.
It is emphasized that the transfers will be provided to 20 regions of Russia, which achieved the best results. Assessment of socio-economic development is based on indicators of efficiency of activity of bodies of Executive power.
Help document also notes that such measures will facilitate the inflow of investments, development of small business, reduce unemployment and increase the welfare gains of regions. The resolution comes into force after its official publication.
