Putin abolished the Federal space Agency, a state Corporation


MOSCOW, December 28. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on the abolition of the Federal space Agency, said the Kremlin website.
The document says that instead he will have created the space Corporation.

“In accordance with Federal law dated July 13, 2015 “About the State Corporation on outer space activities “Roscosmos” I resolve to abolish the Federal space Agency”, – stated in the decree. It also States that the documents concerning the activities of the Agency, will now be applied to the State Corporation for outer space activities “Roscosmos”.

The same decree the President instructed the government “to ensure continuity in the implementation of the transferred State Corporation for outer space activities “Roscosmos” powers and functions of the abolished Federal space Agency; to provide in established by the legislation of the Russian Federation, the terms of conducting of liquidation procedures in connection with the abolition of the Federal space Agency and the provision of redundant workers of guarantees and compensations in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation”. The Cabinet also must “be solved in the prescribed manner of financial, logistical and other issues associated with the implementation of this Decree”.
The presidential decree comes into force on 1 January 2016.
