Alstom increases its share in “Transmashholding” up to 33%


Moscow. December 29. Alstom increased its share in “Transmashholding” to 33%, according to the French company.

“Alstom closed the acquisition of an additional 8% TMH JSC “Russian Railways” for 54 million euros. As a result, the proportion had increased to 33%,” – said in the press release of the concern. When you do this, Alstom notes that the Board of Directors of Transmashholding will retain two seats.

Purchase additional stock will make the partnership with TMH “even more effective”, I am sure Alstom. “In particular, the company expanded joint strategic plans, which now in addition to supplying high-tech rolling stock, infrastructure solutions, alarm systems, the creation of transport systems “turnkey”, and also exports products and components”, – stated in the message.

Alstom reminds that its strategic partnership with Transmashholding continues from 2009. In particular, the companies are jointly implementing a project to supply Russian Railways 400 freight and passenger locomotives.
