The Deputy Minister of the UAE railway will connect the Gulf countries


The pipeline in the UAE starts from the town of Ruwais, where are oil fields and refineries, and from there the train will go to the ports of Abu Dhabi, said Deputy Minister of economy of the UAE Abdullah Ahmed al Saleh.

DUBAI, 29 Dec. Yulia Troitskaya. The railway project which will connect six Gulf countries, will be completed in 2019, said in an interview with the Deputy Minister of economy of the UAE Abdullah Ahmed al Saleh.

“The construction of the railway will begin in late 2017… This railway connecting the countries of the Persian Gulf, each of the six States is responsible for the construction of a railway in its territory. Completely the project should be implemented in 2019,” said al Saleh.

According to him, the pipeline in the UAE kicks off in the West, from the city of Ruwais, where are oil fields and refineries, and from there the train will go to the ports of Abu Dhabi. It is planned that in the beginning on this railroad will be the freight, and then passenger.
