MOSCOW, December 29. The Euro against the ruble during trading on the Moscow exchange has increased compared to closing level of previous trading day to 79 cents to 80,01 ruble, surpassing the mark of 80 rubles for the first time since August 26.
In addition, the dollar gained 63 kopecks and reached 72,85 ruble – highest since the end of December 2014.
The ruble depreciates despite the recovery in oil prices. On the eve of the price of a barrel of Brent fell 3.5% and 29 December, the price of a futures contract with February delivery of oil grade Brent on London exchange ICE increased by 0.25% 36,71 per barrel.
