The Euro rose to 80 rubles for the first time since August 26


On the background of the uncertain dynamics of oil market, the Euro hit a new high since the summer, rising to 80,01 of the ruble, the dollar gets to 73 rubles – the highest level since December 2014. Brent crude oil is trading near the level of 36.6 per barrel.

MOSCOW, 29 Dec. The ruble Tuesday afternoon continues to lose ground in the backdrop of uncertain dynamics of the oil market, say dealers.

The Euro hit a new high since late summer, rising above 80 rubles, the dollar gets to 73 rubles (the highest since December 2014).

The dollar calculations “tomorrow” at 12.02 GMT on Tuesday grew by 0.58 ruble — to of 72.80 rouble, the Euro rate — on 0,79 ruble to 80,01 ruble, follows from the data of the Moscow exchange.

Earlier on Monday, the dollar had already risen to 72,85 ruble and Euro to ruble 80,02.

Oil is trading near the level of 36.6 per dollar per barrel of Brent. The ruble price of black gold hovers around 2,65 thousand roubles.
