Ulyukaev proposes to reduce taxes in Russia

MOSCOW, December 29. The Ministry proposes to lower the level of taxes in Russia. This was stated by the head of the Ministry Alexey Ulyukaev in interview to “Komsomolskaya Pravda” published on the newspaper’s website.

“I’m not ready to voice them right now, although they are (proposals to reduce taxes). But at least for me it is clear that our commitment not to raise taxes for three years should apply not only to so-called tax and non-tax payments and fees. This is the first. Secondly, different tricks in terms of tax administration, from my point of view, exactly the same increase in the tax burden, as increases in rates. This also should not be”, – said Ulyukayev.

He was strongly against any proposals to increase the tax burden.

“In my opinion, the current balance is such that the fiscal burden seems excessive, and not too low. We need to think about how to reduce the tax burden and not to increase it”, – said the speaker.
