The Ukrainian side received a note that Russia has suspended its stay in the free trade zone with Ukraine, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk. As soon as the legal basis, the sanctions against Russia will be introduced, he said.
KYIV, 29 Dec. Kiev received a note from Moscow for the suspension of the agreement on free trade zone within the CIS in relation to Ukraine, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
“We have prepared all the draft acts of the Cabinet of Ministers, we expected signing by the President Ukraine the law of Ukraine on changes on foreign economic activity. We have already received a note from Russia that Russia has suspended its stay in the FTA with Ukraine. As soon as we will have all the legal grounds, in next year’s counter-sanctions against Russia will be introduced, as I have already said,” said Yatsenyuk at a press conference on Tuesday in Kyiv.
