MOSCOW, 30 Dec. Deposit rates of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation Vnesheconombank (VEB) will be reduced, said the Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov.
“We have agreed that the rate on deposits funds placed at the expense of means FNB will be reduced, substantially reduced — up to 0.25%. We have agreed that the Bank will have access to liquidity that have the budget, the Treasury will your liquidity be placed in selected commercial banks, but also to place in the VEB”, — he told in interview to TV channel “Russia 24”.
“We agreed that the Central Bank on its deposits will also take similar measures to improve the balance of VEB”, — the Minister added.
