Money supply in Russia in the national definition in November rose by 1.4%


Moscow. December 31. Monetary weight (unit M2) in Russia in the national definition in November 2015 rose by 1.4%, to 33 trillion 315,4 billion rubles, according to the website of the CBR.

Year-on-year growth rate by 1 December amounted to 8.8% (the highest annual growth rates since February 2014) versus 8.6% a month earlier.

Monetary aggregate M2 comprises monetary aggregate M1 (cash in circulation outside the banking system (monetary aggregate M0) and balances in national currency on settlement, current and other accounts demand of the population, non-financial and financial (excluding credit) organizations which are residents of the Russian Federation) and balances in national currency accounts term deposits and other borrowed for a period of public funds, non-financial and financial (excluding credit) organizations which are residents of the Russian Federation.
