The decree of Vladimir Putin on the limit of regular number of number of ministries and agencies is a continuation of state policy aimed at reducing the bureaucracy by 10%, said the President’s press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
MOSCOW, 31 Dec. The President’s press Secretary Dmitry Peskov explained that the President signed a decree on limiting regular number of a number of ministries and agencies is a continuation of the line on reducing government officials.
“In fact, this decree is in continuation of the serial line to reduce bureaucracy in various ministries and departments, subordinate services and agencies, including the Investigative Committee and the Prosecutor General”, — said Peskov.
“It’s about reducing the number of officials by 10 per cent,” he added.
The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has reduced States of a number of Russian ministries and departments, that affected the Manager of the Kremlin, the corresponding decree published on the official Internet portal of legal information. The cuts have also touched upon the emergencies Ministry, defense Ministry, Federal service for military-technical cooperation, Federal Agency on CIS Affairs and Federal drug control service. The decree comes into force from 1 January 2016.
The Minister of communications and mass communications of the Russian Federation Nikolai Nikiforov in his microblog on Twitter reported that signed the order about reduction of 10% of regular number of the Ministry from 1 January 2016 from 362 to 326 people.
“Similar reductions of 10% staff numbers accepted and in respect of subordinate Roskomnadzor, the Federal Agency and the Federal communication Agency”, — said the Minister.
