MOSCOW, 30 Dec. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has signed a law that extends the rights and functions of chambers of Commerce and industry (CCI) on the development of entrepreneurship, the protection and representation of interests of enterprises and entrepreneurs in government.

The act establishes a new legal form — the CCI of Russia becomes the Union. In addition, the law aims to increase the minimum number of founders of CCI (15 to 30). Becomes obligatory membership of chambers of Commerce and industry of the Russian Federation subjects in the Russian chamber of Commerce and municipalities in the CCI region. In case of withdrawal or exclusion of the chamber of Commerce of the Russian chamber of Commerce, she loses the right to operate as CCI.
CCI granted the right to participate in the formation and implementation of state policy in the area of enterprise development, including through participation in the development and implementation of programs and projects. The CCI will be able to participate in the work of commissions, Advisory councils, to provide legal, informational, consulting and other assistance on matters relating to business activities. CCI will also arrange training of personnel for entrepreneurial activity.
