Rosstat: inflation in 2015 was 12.9%


MOSCOW, December 31. Inflation in Russia, according to preliminary data, in December was 0.8%, in the beginning of 2015 is 12.9%, according to the materials of Rosstat.

For comparison, in December 2014 the growth of consumer prices was 2.6%, while inflation for the year was 11.4%.

According to the official forecast, inflation in Russia in 2015 was expected to reach 12.2 per cent. However, in December the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of economic development gave its forecasts. In particular, the head of the MAYOR Alexei Ulyukayev said that inflation for the year will be closer to 13%. At the same time, the Ministry of Finance was more pessimistic: the head of the Ministry Anton Siluanov said that inflation may exceed 13%.

About the price of gasoline

According to Rosstat, the price of gasoline and diesel fuel in Russia in the past week – from 21 to 27 December 2015 fell by 0.1%. With the beginning of the year, gasoline prices rose by 4.7%, diesel fuel – by 3.3%.

The average consumer price of gasoline on December 28, amounted 34,92 rbl. for litre, including gasoline AI-76/AI-80 – 32,16 rubles, AI-92/AI-93 – 33,95 rbl. (December 21 – 34 rubles), AI-95 and above – 36,84 rubles (36,89 rbl.).

The average consumer price of diesel oil amounted to $ 35,54 rbl. (December 21 – 35,56 rubles) per liter.

Over the past week, registered a decline in prices for gasoline in 34 centres of subjects of the Russian Federation. Most gasoline prices have fallen in Chelyabinsk and Salekhard, 1.3% and 1% respectively.

The increase in gasoline prices by 0.2% was recorded in St. Petersburg. In Moscow consumer prices of gasoline over the past week have not changed.
