Transaero airlines has filed a lawsuit against the Finance Ministry for 215 million rubles

Moscow. December 31. JSC “Aviation company “Transaero” has filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, follows from the materials database of the “Electronic justice”.

The amount of requirements is more 215,2 million rbl. the Essence of the claim is not disclosed. As the third person brought to the office of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.

Transaero has gained about 250 billion rubles of debt and excess fleet in September was in the verge of bankruptcy, forcing the state to look for options to save her. It was assumed that the control in the company will be sold to Aeroflot for 1 ruble, but shareholders “Transaero” were not able to consolidate the required stake.

Later it became known that the co-owner of airline “Siberia” Vladislav Filev has signed an agreement to purchase Alexander Pleshakov at least 51% of the shares of the airline. The next day the aviation authorities announced the recall of Transaero aircraft operator’s certificate from October 26. A little later, the shareholders of “Siberia” declared that it is withdrawing from the deal because Pleshakov was not able to consolidate the required stake.

The lawsuit was filed to Arbitration court of Moscow.

In the middle of December the court has satisfied the statement of the savings Bank of bankruptcy “Transaero” and has imposed on airlines the observation procedure. All subsequent claims for the insolvency of the air carrier accepted by the court as petitions for intervention. Today to the claim of the savings Bank, joined Alfa-Bank, VTB and FTS. Among other creditors of the airline are Absolut Bank, Moscow credit Bank, Moscow industrial Bank (the Ural Bank), the Bank “international financial club” (IFC), BFA Bank, MTS-Bank, as well as a number of leasing companies. Total debt of “Transaero” in front of them reached about 250 billion rubles.
