Ukraine trade adopted countermeasures against the Russian embargo

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted two resolutions: on the prohibition of import of Russian goods from January 10, 2016, and the introduction of import trade duties on 2 January, said Deputy Minister of economic development and trade – trade representative of Ukraine Nataliya Mykolska.

“Voted in the form proposed by the Ministry of economic development,” said Gaina reporters on Wednesday.

Contractive will be introduced in the imposition of a trade embargo from the Russian Federation.

As reported, the Ministry of Ukraine in connection with the actions of the Russian Federation developed the suggestions on retaliatory sanctions Russia: the introduction of from 2 January 2016 to Russian goods import duty rates MFN and January 10, 2016 – prohibition of import of some of them.

In particular, the MEDT proposes to introduce an embargo on the supply of food products: meat, fish, dairy products, processed cheeses, coffee, tea, food mixes, confectionery and bakery products, baby foods, pasta, sauces; flavorings and seasonings, beer, alcohol, vodka, dog food, cigarettes with filter.

In addition, in the proposed list, unlike Russian, potassium chloride with potassium, insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, means to prevent the germination of sprouts and plant growth regulators, rodenticides, artificial casing for sausage products, equipment for Railways or tramways and locomotives are diesel-electric.
