Duty on oil exports from Russia in January fell by 15.1 per dollar


Preferential rate of duty on oil of Eastern Siberia, Caspian fields and the Prirazlomnoye field due to the change in the calculation of the rate of duty in connection with the tax maneuver was zeroed with 1 February.

MOSCOW, 1 Jan. Duty on oil exports from the Russian Federation in January decreased by 15.1 per dollar to 73.3 dollars per tonne from 88,4 dollars per tonne in December, follows from documents of the Ministry of economic development.

Previously, the expert of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation said that the average oil price for the calculation of the fee amount on the results of monitoring for the period from 15 November to 15 December amounted to 39,40619 dollars per barrel, or 287,7 dollars per ton.

Preferential rate of duty on oil of Eastern Siberia, Caspian fields and the Prirazlomnoye field due to the change in the calculation of the rate of duty in connection with the tax maneuver was zeroed with 1 February. These rates, according to the new formula, will remain at the zero level, if the average oil price will be below $ 65. Also reset to zero the duty on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

The export duty for extra-viscous oil from January 1, decreased to 8.7 per dollar from 10.9 $ / t in December.

The duty on straight-run gasoline (naphtha) fell to 52 $ 75.1 dollar per ton, car (commercial) gasoline — up to 44.7 68.9 per dollar to dollars per ton.
