Putin replaced two members of the Board of the Russian foreign Ministry

MOSCOW, January 2. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has released from duties of the members of the Collegium of the Russian foreign Ministry, permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the OSCE Alexander Lukashevich and former Director of the legal Department of the foreign Ministry Kirill Gevorgyan, who was elected to the International court in the Hague. The order was published on the portal of legal information.

Instead, the new Board members, the President appointed Directors of the two departments of the MFA of the Russian Federation Alexander Pankin (international organizations Department) and Mikhail Ulyanov (on non-proliferation and arms control).

The Chairman of the Board of the Russian foreign Ministry is the Minister of foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov. The structure of this governance body is also composed of Deputy Minister and other employees of the foreign Ministry, in leadership positions. The Board is considering the most important issues for the Agency.
