Moscow. January 11. “Ukrnafta” has appealed to the international court of arbitration in the Hague (Permanent Court of Arbitration) with a claim to protect its investments against Russia.

In addition, claims against Russia to international arbitration addressed to the company “Kirovograd-Nafta”, “Crimea-petrol”, “Person”, “trade trust”, “eleftheria”, “the CCF SATEC”, “Rustel”, “Rubinar”, Stemv Group, Novel-Estate, Stabil.
They all refer to the regulations of the UNCITRAL (United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, UN Commission on international trade law) and the agreement between the governments of the Russian Federation and Ukraine from 27 November 1998 on the protection of investments.
As reported, Ihor Kolomoisky also appealed to the international court of arbitration in the Hague with a lawsuit to protect their investment in the airport “Belbek” (located in Crimea) against the Russian Federation.
In this same court previously considered the case of Yukos against Russia, the process took nine years.
