Chinese Dalian Wanda will acquire the media company, Legendary Entertainment for $3.5 billion

BEIJING, January 12. /Corr. Roman Balandin/. The Chinese Corporation Dalian Wanda said it has reached an agreement to acquire a majority stake in American media, Legendary Entertainment. As said Tuesday the representatives of the Chinese company, the deal will be about $3.5 billion.

“Dalian Wanda has taken the decision to buy the company, not only for films but also for the acquisition of intellectual property rights,” – said at a special press conference in Beijing the President of the Corporation and the richest man of China, Wang Jianlin.
