The bill proposes to give the Federal customs service of Russia the authority for maintaining statistics of mutual trade of the Russian Federation with member States of the Eurasian economic Union (EEU).
MOSCOW, 12 Jan. The government of the Russian Federation submitted to the state Duma a bill granting the Federal customs service (FCS) the authority for maintaining statistics of mutual trade between the countries of the Eurasian economic Union (EEU), as well as obligations of Russian entrepreneurs to provide relevant statistics.
The bill proposes to give authority to the Federal customs service of Russia on statistics of mutual trade of the Russian Federation with member States of the EEU.
It also establishes the responsibility of Russian entrepreneurs who made a deal, or on whose behalf the deal was concluded, to submit statistical form to the customs authority.
In addition, the bill proposes to introduce administrative liability for failure to submit or late submission to the customs authorities of statistical forms or statistical view in the form of false information.
“In particular, the offence will entail the imposition of an administrative fine: for officials — from 10 thousand to 15 thousand rubles (for first violation) and from 20 thousand to 30 thousand rubles (repeat offender); on legal entities and individual businessmen — from 20 thousand to 50 thousand rubles (for first violation) and from 50 thousand to 100 thousand rubles (for repeated breach)”, — stated in the explanatory Memorandum.
