It is expected that participation in the forum in Stavropol will take over 500 people, including civic activists, Federal and regional experts of the popular front, representatives of Executive authorities, as well as journalists.
MOSCOW, 12 Jan. Russian popular front (onf) will organize on 24-25 January in Stavropol the first this year interregional forum, which will be composed of “map of the regional agenda”, reported the press service of the popular front on Tuesday.
Among the participants of the forum, which is expected more than 500 people will be civil society activists, Federal and regional experts of the popular front, representatives of Executive authorities, as well as journalists. On the first day of the forum will run five discussion forums: “Society and power: direct dialogue”, “Education and culture as the basis of national identity”, “Quality of life”, “Fair and efficient economy” and “Social justice”.
Key topics of discussion will be the performance of “may decrees” and orders of the President, in particular, issues of struggle against corruption and the availability of preschool education, problems in the housing sector, road infrastructure and accessibility of health care.
“This year we will focus on the work in the regions, we will closely collaborate with activists on the ground who help to solve specific problems for the inhabitants of their towns and cities. For this purpose we will conduct a series of interregional forums and start with the Stavropol. The event will gather representatives of the North Caucasus and Southern Russia. Also this year we are planning a traditional media Forum of independent regional and local media in April, and at the end of the year wrap-up “Forum actions”, – quotes the press service of the movement co-Chairman of the Central headquarters of the popular front Alexander Brechalov.
According to the results of the thematic areas will be summed up and compiled the “Map of the regional agenda”. Will conclude the forum with a plenary session. The front said that such events will subsequently cover all Federal districts of the country.
