In December 2015 “Victory” carried three-million passenger per year. The company operates flights not only in Russia but also abroad.

SHEREMETYEVO (Moscow region), 12 Dec –. Budget airline “Victory” (subsidiary of “Aeroflot”) was a good project to implement similar projects and other airlines, said the head of “Aeroflot” Vitaly Saveliev.

“The project was very successful, Mr Putin said Savelyev at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, which took place at the airport “Sheremetyevo”. — We encourage other airlines to follow suit, because we are not a monopoly here too, but the niche was very successful”.

The head of Aeroflot noted that in December 2015 the Victory carried three-million passenger per year. The company operates flights not only in Russia but also abroad.

“Now “Victory” has a fleet of 12 cars and is already beginning to fly abroad and to Kaliningrad, but in the main priority in Russia. Moreover, Russia’s “Victory” flies not only from Moscow: we do many flights from Ekaterinburg and other cities directly to Sochi to other cities, that is we distribute this stream”, — he explained.

According to Savelyev, aviation is a very competitive market, but “the government did everything to ensure that competition in the airline industry grew, so, despite the crisis, the alignment is quite noticeable.”

The airline “Victory” was founded on September 16 2014 instead fell under the EU sanctions “Dobrolet”. The first flight loukoster completed December 1, 2014 in Volgograd from the Moscow airport “Vnukovo”. By 2018, the carrier’s fleet will consist of nearly 40 aircraft. As at 25 June 2015 “Victory” operates 12 Boeing 737-800 NG (in the layout to 189 passengers).
