“Passenger traffic is stable, according to our forecasts, it will continue in 2016. If it is more, we will schedule more flights “Swifts”. We have all the possibilities. Now we have goes from 5 to 7 flights per day: on holidays it was 7, now again will do 5 flights. In the event of further passenger growth, we can increase this number up to 9 flights,” he said.
“Swifts” on the route Moscow – Nizhny Novgorod transported 70% more people than the “peregrine”
As noted in the FPC, at the present time the monthly passenger traffic at the “Swifts” is more than 100 thousand passengers. Only from November till December 2015 it has been transported more than 200 thousand passengers. The company expects further growth of demand for high-speed trains.
“The plans also include the purchase of new trains, “Swifts”, but everything will depend on commercial results,” – said Shugurov. He added that “Swifts” “pay off” despite the fact that this formulation is quite expensive, not specifying a specific payback period. “If the passenger traffic will continue to remain the same, we will refund your money for sure. But if there is a bobble, and passengers will be spent on other transport – plane or bus, we can be fired, and it’s our fault”, – said the head of the Gorky branch of ATF.
Earlier it was reported that “Swifts” on the route Moscow – Nizhny Novgorod for six months of work carried 70% more passengers than their predecessors “Peregrines”.
