MOSCOW, 13 Jan. The liberalization of the legislation on economic offenses, the need of that said Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, is long overdue, said the Deputy head of the economic Committee of the Federation Council Sergey Shatirov.
At the Gaidar forum on Wednesday, Prime Minister has proposed to increase the threshold for excitation of criminal cases on economic crimes and reported that the amendments to liberalize the law in this area.
“Liberalization in this issue is long overdue. Practice will show how this is useful from the point of view of law and simplification of the relevant procedures,” said Sotirov.
The proposed measures should clear and the agencies serving sentences, he added.
In General, the liberalization of the legislation would support the development of business in Russia, because “some inspection bodies there are from 60 to 260,” said the Senator. “Business is regulated, constant checking, reporting. It clutters the real processes in the economy”, — concluded Shatirov.
