Oil supplies from Russia to the EU “to drop slightly due to General reduction of volumes of oil consumption in Europe”, however in the Ministry of energy believe that supplies of gas will increase, said the Deputy Minister.
MOSCOW, 13 Jan. The Ministry of energy is optimistic of maintaining the level of oil and gas supplies from Russia to the EU, while gas supplies might increase, said Deputy energy Minister Anatoly Yanovsky.
“It is clear that in this market (European — ed.) competition intensifies. She becomes aggravated and in connection with the policy of energy saving and technological development, and due to the possibility of the emergence of new players in this market. However, we are quite optimistic about what volumes of oil and gas supplies (the EU — ed.) will remain approximately at the same level of gas will actually increase,” said Janowski in his speech at the Gaidar forum.
