MOSCOW, January 14. The total debt for utility services in Russia in the third quarter of 2015 amounted to $ 958 billion.

This was reported to journalists by the Deputy Minister of construction and housing of Russia Andrey Chibis.

“The turnover of housing and communal services is almost 4 trillion rubles That is, a quarter of this turnover is in debt,” said Chibis.

The Deputy Minister stressed that half of these debts are the debts of legal entities.

The debt of physical persons on housing and utility payments is equal to almost 250 billion rubles, while the most conscientious taxpayers are pensioners, he said.

Rates will rise

Previously Chibis noted that the national average in 2016 expected growth rates at 4%, and “any increase over this limit only in exchange for investments and only in consultation with the municipal deputies.
