During the talks, first Deputy foreign Minister Vladimir Titov and the new British Ambassador to the Russian Federation Laurie Bristow exchanged views on topical international and regional problems, including the situation in Syria and the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis, said the foreign Ministry.

MOSCOW, 15 Jan. The situation in Syria and the prospects of settling the crisis in southeastern Ukraine was discussed at the meeting of first Deputy foreign Minister Vladimir Titov and the new British Ambassador to the Russian Federation Laurie Bristow, said the foreign Ministry.

“They also exchanged views on topical regional and international issues, including countering terrorism, the situation in Syria, the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis, with an emphasis on the need for full implementation of the “measures” on the implementation of the Minsk agreements, the issue of Iran’s nuclear program”, — stated in the message of the foreign Ministry.
