Moscow. January 15. Russia’s largest manufacturer of beer – brewing company “Baltika” – along with banks-creditors of “Mechel” has filed a lawsuit against “daughter” of the company Igor Zyuzin.
As follows from the database of the court, “Baltic” on January 13 filed a lawsuit to “Mechel-Energo” in Arbitration court of the Chelyabinsk region. The amount of the claim is 6,07 million.
As have informed in a press-service of the brewing company, the essence of claims to “Mechel-Energo” “is to refund for electricity, which us was not used”. The representative of Mechel declined to comment.
LLC “Mechel-Energo” is a subsidiary company of “Mechel”, uniting the energy assets of the group, manages the energy companies in the Kemerovo and Chelyabinsk regions, Bashkortostan, Udmurtia, Moscow region.
LLC “brewing company “Baltika” is the Danish Carlsberg group. The company produces beer under the brands Carlsberg, Tuborg, Kronenbourg 1664, “Baltika” and others. In Russia, Baltika owns eight factories. According to base “SPARK-Interfax”, the company’s revenue in 2014 amounted to 83.2 billion rubles.
