The energy Ministry will develop a General scheme for the internal gas market


A new model of the gas market will be established by the middle of this year, said first Deputy Minister of energy of the Russian Federation Alexey Teksler. According to him, in the gas circuit will be answered on urgent issues.

“The new model of the gas market — some serious history. Today final decisions on most issues… there are no Basic guidelines we have given in the strategy, are now working on a more detailed document — by gas scheme, which will give answers to urgent questions. Gazprom and other companies put forward proposals that are under consideration, and some answers will be given in the General scheme, which we plan to develop by the middle of this year and discuss it,” said Teksler.

In his opinion, in the future Russia will come to the fact that all the companies that participate in domestic and foreign markets, will be in equal conditions.

“Following this the economically justified gas market model, which would effectively monetize the inventory is not only Gazprom but also other Russian companies, without a negative impact on the receipt of export proceeds and was stimulated by the development of gas related industries within the country — the aim of the document, which is being developed”, — said the Deputy Minister of energy.

At the end of last year the company “Gazprom” presented in the Ministry of energy its draft strategy for the development of the internal gas market of the Russian Federation.
