MOSCOW, 17 Jan. SPC “Uralvagonzavod” (UVZ) is interested in all areas of cooperation with Iran, said the Deputy CEO Alexei Zharich.
On Saturday, the country’s IAEA received the final report of the experts of the Agency on Iran’s nuclear program, leading up to the inauguration of its implementation. After that, the EU and the US confirmed the removal from Iran of economic and financial sanctions related to its nuclear program.
“Just recently, at the initiative of the Ministry of industry and trade was a big business forum Russia-Iran, where “Uralvagonzavod” presented the model of a gondola is specially designed for Iranian Railways in their technical specification. We continue moving in this direction in the implementation of joint projects in the rail direction. Interested in all directions (of cooperation — ed.),” Zharich said on Sunday.
General Director UVZ Oleg Sienko has previously told reporters that the company is interested in working in Iran on infrastructure projects in urban and rail transport. The Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation has specified that the Russian and Iranian Azar Kia Industrial & Trading Group planning to create a joint venture to build cars to sell them in Iran and neighboring countries.
SPC “Uralvagonzavod” is the largest Russian company tank engineering, a developer and manufacturer of various types of freight cars, gondola cars, cargo trucks, tanks. Fully UVZ belongs to the state.
