Dvorkovich: the Russian government expects the economic growth in 2016


Hong KONG /XIANGGANG/, January 18. The government expects the economic growth in the country in 2016, despite the crisis.

On Monday said Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich at the Asian financial forum, which opened in Hong Kong.

“We are focused on positive economic growth this year, despite the economic crisis. We are in constant dialogue with the business community, discussed ways to support the economy and opportunities to improve the business climate”, – said Dvorkovich.

The Vice Premier reminded that the last 10 years have been very successful for the Russian economy, high oil prices have allowed Russia to accumulate sufficient reserves to allow them to spend to support the economy in times of crisis.

In addition, according to Dvorkovich, the current weakening of the ruble allows Russia to increase export of industrial goods and foodstuffs, including in China.
