Gasoline retail in Russia fell by 0.1% for the third consecutive week

Moscow. January 21. Consumer prices on gasoline in Russia from 12 to 18 January fell by 0.1%, Rosstat said. The last two weeks, prices also decreased by 0.1%, before that two weeks in a row prices declined 0.3%.

Prices of diesel from 12 to 18 January also decreased by 0.1%, after stable prices in the previous week.

Over the past week, registered a decline in prices for gasoline in 26 centres of subjects of the Russian Federation. Most gasoline prices dropped in Abakan and Kyzyl – 2.3% and 0.9% respectively.

The increase in gasoline prices was noted in Vladimir 0.9%, Pskov, Kurgan, and cities of the Leningrad region – by 0.1-0.2%.

In Moscow and St.-Petersburg consumer prices of gasoline have not changed. At the observed stations in Moscow gasoline AI-92 (AI-93 and etc.) can be purchased at the price of up to 35,80 32,90 rubles per liter, AI-95 and above – from up to 35,80 39,30 ruble. In St. Petersburg gasoline AI-92 (AI-93 and etc.) cost to 35,19 33,10 ruble, AI-95 and higher – from 36,35 before 38,69 rubles per liter.

The cost of a liter of gasoline on average in the Russian Federation on January 18 amounted to 34,86 rubles (on January 11 – 34,89€).

Production of gasoline in Russia from 11 to 17 January fell by 5.5% in comparison with the previous period – up to 736,8 thousand tons. The production of diesel fuel rose by 0.1% to 1 423,5 million tonnes.
