Subject to the approval of the European Commission and further after determining the agenda, the tripartite format of gas talks could be continued, said the head of Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin.
DAVOS (Switzerland), 21 Jan. Ukraine supports the continuation of the tripartite format of gas talks with Russia and the European Commission, told reporters on the sidelines of the world economic forum in Davos, foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin.
“If the EC supports further cooperation in a trilateral format, we have always been for it. Before you meet, it is necessary to determine the agenda. As I understand it, there is a discussion underway on this agenda. As it is defined, trilateral format could be continued,” he said.
“But he always (format — ed.) must focus not on process but on results. The energy dimension is changing, not only in terms of price dynamics, but also in other aspects. Therefore, in a trilateral format, I think there is a topic for discussion”, — said Klimkin.
