MINSK, 22 January. /Corr. Yury Shamshur/. The tariffs for thermal energy for heating and hot water supply in Belarus increased by 33.3%. It is provided accepted on 20 January by the Council of Ministers of the Republic, announced on January 22, the press service of the government.
According to the document, the tariff for thermal energy for heating and hot water is set at 133 417 Belarusian rubles (about 513 of Russian roubles) for 1 Gcal, noted in the Council of Ministers. Prior to this, clarified, 1 Gcal of heat energy for needs of heating and hot water cost 100 088 rubles. “The decree comes into force from the date of its adoption and shall apply to relations arising from 1 January 2016”, – said the Belarusian government.
Earlier connection with the inclusion in rates of value added tax (VAT) in Belarus from 1 January of the current year the prices for electric and thermal energy, and gas were increased by 20%. In addition, in Minsk with the beginning of the year increased the tariffs for garbage removal, water supply, and also changed the order of payment for lighting of common areas in residential buildings, cleaning of entrances and the Elevator. According to estimates, in January the housing and utilities services in Belarus will increase by about 25% compared with December of last year. The increase of the personnel of the national expenditure on housing and utilities is one of the conditions for Belarus of the IMF loan in the amount of $3 billion.
