Medvedev signed a decree on state support of automotive industry in 2016

Moscow. January 22. Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on state support of automobile industry in the current year in the amount of 50 billion rubles. In 2015, the industry has received state support in the amount of 43 billion rubles.

“I want to announce that I have just signed a government decree about the program of support of car industry in 2016. The industry will receive in the current year, the largest amount of subsidies from all civil sectors. It is anticipated that total funding will be about 50 billion rubles,” – he said at the meeting about the current state of the auto industry and main directions of its development until 2025.

The amount of compensation for the costs of logistics and homologation for the export of cars from Russia in 2016оду will amount to 3.3 billion rubles, said, in his turn, Minister of industry and trade Denis Manturov.

Medvedev stated that the situation in the auto industry for the current year has not improved. “Now, for obvious reasons our market continues to show a negative trend, sales of all types of cars in the past year has decreased in comparison with the year 2014 is practically more than than one-third,” he said.
