Vice-President of the Russian Railways was the former head of the Oktyabrskaya railway Walinsky


MOSCOW, January 21. The Board of Directors of JSC “Russian Railways” (RZD) was released from his duties Vice-President and terminated the powers as members of the Board Stepov Victor and Alexis Vorotilkin, said in a statement.

The Board of Directors of Russian Railways has decided to appoint a Vice – President Oleg Walinsky, who had previously worked in various positions at the October railway (DWS), and since October 2014 he held the post of chief of the highway. In the Railways are unable to clarify which issues will be overseen by Walinsky as Vice President.

Stepov, who served as Vice-President of Russian Railways since October 2014, oversaw the development of the control system.

The vorotilkin became Vice-President in June 2008, and since February 2011 he was also appointed head of the Directorate of traction Railways.
