MOSCOW, January 23. The increase in the price of gasoline in 2016 will not exceed inflation. About it has informed journalists the Vice-Premier Arkady Dvorkovich.

“In the measure of inflation, not more,” he said, responding to a question.

Thus Dvorkovich said that he expected the inflation rate by the end of 2016 will not exceed 10%.

“I hope that will not be double-digit values. I hope that up to 10%”, – he told, answering an appropriate question.

Earlier the Deputy Minister of Finance Maxim Oreshkin told journalists that annual inflation in Russia in January will be about 10 percent.

Inflation in Russia in new year holidays from 1 to 11 January 2016 amounted to 0.3%, reported by Rosstat. For comparison, in 2015, inflation in the new year was 0.8%, and in January of last year and 3.9%.

Based on data from the Ministry, inflation in annual expression on 11 January, declined to 12.3%.
