“Attempts to justify such inappropriate actions to blame us for the escalation of tensions in bilateral Affairs not stand up to scrutiny, – stressed in dipvedomstva. – It is well known that the US sanctions have unleashed the aggression against Russia and carry out large-scale Russophobic propaganda around the world, trying to deflect responsibility for the support of an armed coup in Ukraine and the bloody war in the Donbass. U.S. intelligence agencies do not stop provocations against Russian diplomatic missions not only in the United States.”
“The decision on honorary consuls, the Obama administration continues the course for the reduction of relations with our country”, – stressed in the Ministry.
“The American authorities have once again demonstrated the true attitude to the development of contacts between people, the creation of which worked honorary consuls, along with the assistance of visiting USA for the Russians, said in depodesta. – All this was Washington not to their liking. To cost to remind that in 2013 there was blocked by study visits of Americans to Russia by Rossotrudnichestvo by expanding the campaign of slander in the media and to intimidate potential participants in the interrogations to the FBI”.
“We Express our sincere gratitude to the American citizens, for many years adequately to serve the Russian honorary consuls, for his great contribution to the development of multifaceted cooperation between Russia and the USA, – is spoken in the comment of the Russian foreign Ministry. Not them and not our fault that this interaction is now derailed. We expect that sooner or later, in Washington, common sense will prevail, and the honorary consuls will be able to return to their useful and practical activities”.
