Onf proposes to conduct an inventory of agricultural lands

Onf plans to hold inventory of land in the framework of the project “state-control” involving local residents, civil society activists to identify violations of land use.

STAVROPOL, 24 Jan. Activists of the Russian popular front (onf) in the framework of the project “state-control” offer to make an inventory of agricultural land and to identify their inefficient use, which will save arable land and increase tax collection.

In onf recalled that the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has twice issued directives regarding the use of agricultural land. However, according to experts, the order has not been achieved. In addition, according to the Ministry of agriculture of Russia, in the country for various reasons is not used more than 56 million hectares of agricultural land.

So, referring to data of Rosstat, experts note that most of the undeveloped land in the Astrakhan and Volgograd regions, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania and Kabardino-Balkaria.

“To deal with the true state of Affairs, to conduct a kind of national inventory of land, we plan, in the framework of the project “state control” to involve local residents, civic activists to identify violations of land use. Information about such violations will come to the focal point of the project front,” said a member of the working group onf “Fair and efficient economy” Mikhail Maltsev.

He said that then the experts will check the information obtained via open sources of information — public cadastral map, the Atlas of agricultural lands and to forward the requests to the Federal registration service, Rosselkhoznadzor, the Russian Federal space Agency, Rosprirodnadzor, the Federal tax service and Department of agriculture agents.

“In addition, we will be sent to the regions representatives, and, if necessary, to conduct special raids”, — said Maltsev.

This year’s first inter-regional forum of the popular front in Stavropol held from 24 to 25 January. Among the participants, more than 600, civil society activists from the southern regions of the country, Federal and regional experts of the popular front, representatives of Executive authorities, journalists. In addition, the event will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of economic development, the Ministry of the North Caucasus, the Ministry of labour and social protection, Ministry of construction and housing, the Federal Antimonopoly service, audit chamber, the Agency for Affairs of nationalities.
