France intends to achieve cancellation of sanctions against Russia by the summer of this year


Moscow. January 24. France intends to fight for the abolition of anti-Russian sanctions in the EU by this summer, said Minister of economy of France Emmanuel macron.

“Our goal is to have the ability to lift the sanctions against Russia, if Minsk agreement will be respected”, – quotes the Minister Agency AFP, who spoke in Moscow before the French entrepreneurs.

Earlier, U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry said that he sees the prospect of full implementation of the Minsk agreements in the coming months and subsequent withdrawal associated with Ukrainian crisis sanctions.

“I believe that with the sincere and legitimate desire to solve the problem from both sides it is possible that in the months following Minsk agreement will be implemented”, – said the Secretary of state, speaking at the world economic form in Davos.

“Then we will find ourselves in a situation where sanctions can be adjusted accordingly with the full implementation of the Minsk agreements, the removed,” – said Kerry.

Earlier, the gradual lifting of the sanctions against Russia have predicted the ex-Minister of Finance Alexey Kudrin.
