Moscow. On 25 January. Industrial production in Russia in December 2015 fell 4.5% for the same month in 2014, said Wednesday Rosstat.
During the year the index decreased by 3.4%.
Compared with the November decline in industrial production has accelerated by 1 percentage point.
The consensus forecast of analysts polled by Interfax at the end of December, included the fall of industrial production for the month at 4.2 percent (for the year of 3.4%).
The official forecast for the year – decreased by 3.3%.
With the exception of seasonal and calendar factors, industrial production in December contracted by 0.2% against 0.6% in November and 0.2% in October.
The production of passenger cars in Russia in 2015 decreased by 27.7% compared with 2014, to 1.2 million units. In 2015, Russia produced 131 thousand trucks, which is 14.7% lower than a year earlier. Bus production for the year decreased by 17%, to 36.7 thousand
The production of passenger cars in December fell by 38.9 per cent compared to the same month of 2014 and by 12.5% compared with November 2015, the Production of trucks in December decreased by 1.4% compared with December of last year, but was up 18.4% compared to November 2015. Bus production in December decreased 16.2%, but grew by 27.1% to November 2015. Absolute numbers are not provided by Rosstat.
Earlier the Ministry of economic development has revised macroeconomic forecast for 2016 by introducing a base variant the price of oil is $40. In this embodiment, it is assumed that industrial production in Russia will fall by 0.4% (still expected growth of 0.6% at an oil price of $50).
