MOSCOW, January 25. Real disposable incomes of Russians in 2015 decreased by 4% compared to 2014. Such estimation is contained in the preliminary report of Rosstat.

In December last year real disposable income compared with the corresponding period of 2014 decreased by 0.7%, while compared with November 2015 rose by 43.4%.

Cash income average per capita in 2015 compared with 2014 increased by 10.1% to 30,311 thousand rubles, while in December 2015 has increased by 11.2% to 45,212 thousand.

Average monthly accrued wages of employees of organizations in 2015, according to Rosstat, amounted 33925 rubles and in comparison with the year 2014 increased by 4.6%, in December 2015 – 42684 rubles, an increase compared to the corresponding period of the previous year by 1.6%.

The number of unemployed in Russia in 2015, according to preliminary data of Rosstat, amounted to 4,264 million, which is 7.4% more than in 2014. In December 2015, the rate of unemployment amounted to 4,426 million, or 5.8% of the economically active population, a decrease compared to November 2015 by 0.2%. Thus in comparison with December 2014, this figure increased by 9.5%.

At state establishments of employment service as unemployed in December 2015, there were 1.0 million people, including 0.8 million people were receiving unemployment benefits.

The number of economically active population in December amounted to $ 76.7 million, or 53% of the total population of the country, according to data of Rosstat.

Russia’s GDP

GDP of Russia in physical terms in 2015 decreased compared to the previous year by 3.7%. For comparison, in 2014 Russia’s GDP grew 0.7% compared with 2013.

On Monday the Minister of economic development of Russia Alexei Ulyukayev told reporters that the downward trend of Russia’s GDP in December of 2015, according to preliminary data, has not survived.

Previously Ulyukaev reported that, according to preliminary estimates, the GDP of Russia in 2015 was 3.9%. Last forecast Ministry foresaw the downturn in the whole year at the level of 3.7-3.8%.

The Minister also told journalists that the devaluation of the ruble does not become a driver of growth for Russian economy due to the lack of investment and production capacity.

The production of passenger cars in Russia in 2015 fell compared with the corresponding figure of the year 2014 by 27.7% and amounted to 1 million 213 thousand units.The production of trucks (including chassis, but without trucks) for the reporting period declined by 14.7% to 131 thousand cars.
