“Transaero” demands through court to collect from the Federal air transport Agency 595 million roubles

MOSCOW, January 25. The airline “Transaero” has submitted to Arbitration court of Moscow the claim with the requirement to collect from the Federal air transport Agency 594,92 million rubles, follows from the materials of a card file of arbitration Affairs. In addition, the carrier filed a lawsuit demanding to recognize the actions of the Agency illegal.

Both complaints were registered on 21 January, however, production had not yet been adopted. Details of claims are not disclosed.

As previously reported, on October 1, 2015, at the governmental meeting with the participation of the Prime Minister-the Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev a decision was made on bankruptcy “Transaero”, the accumulated 250 billion rubles of debt. The company has stopped sale of tickets. Rosaviatsia has deprived Transaero aircraft operator’s certificate from the end of October due to the deteriorating financial and economic condition and key performance indicators affecting the safety and rights of consumers. In addition, the Federal air transport Agency distributed the troubled airline routes between other carriers. Passengers “Transaero” transported “Aeroflot”, from October 1 till the time the certificate was executed operational control over “Transaero”.
