Ulyukayev: Russia’s GDP’s decline to seasonality in December was 0.1%


There is some deterioration traceable indicators, said the head of Ministry of economic development Alexei Ulyukayev. The Federal state statistics service on Monday issued a preliminary assessment by 2015, according to which the decline of the Russian economy in 2015 was 3.7%.

MOSCOW, 25 Jan. Russia’s GDP in December of 2015 with seasonality decreased by 0.1%, said the head of Ministry of economic development Alexei Ulyukayev.

“There is a deterioration traceable indicators: industrial production, GDP, particularly in the treatment of minor deterioration, but much less than January. The November smoothed seasonality — a drop of 0.3% in December to 0.1%, I mean GDP,” Ulyukayev told reporters in response to a request to comment on the statistics of Rosstat.

The Federal state statistics service on Monday issued a preliminary assessment by 2015, according to which the decline of the Russian economy in 2015 was 3.7%.

“As for investment, is a measure quite irregular… and to say it is very difficult. 11 months was 7% for the year as a whole will work more than 8% (decline – ed.)”, — Ulyukayev said.

Assessment of Rosstat, the decline of investments in fixed capital in Russia in 2015 has accelerated to 8.4% from 1.5% in 2014. In December 2015, a decline of 8.7% in annual terms, compared with 4.9% in November.
