Kiev’s decision on the embargo against Russia will come into force on 3 February


In the expanded list of prohibited goods from Russia has got a number of confectionery products and canned fish. The list was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on 20 January 2016.

KYIV, 26 Jan. The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, which expands the list of prohibited goods from Russia, comes into force on 3 February, said Tuesday the press service of the state fiscal service of Ukraine.

“The expanded list was approved by the CMU resolution no 28 of 20 January 2016. The decree was published on 23 January 2016. (The decision — ed.) comes into force 10 days after publication, on February 3,” — said the press service.

According to the resolution, the expanded list includes: onions, green tea, prepared or preserved fish, caviar and other fish eggs, white chocolate, jelly beans or similar sweets in the form of pellets. In addition, fell under the Russian embargo confectionery in the form of gum or jellies, including jelly and chocolate candies, containing alcohol, corn flakes, cereals (other than corn) in grain form or flakes, pellets or processed in any other way (except flour fine and coarse grinding, cereals).
