Nizhny Novgorod-complex wants to invest 1.1 billion rubles in new greenhouses


JSC “Agrokombinat Gorky”, the oldest enterprise on production of vegetables in the Nizhny Novgorod region, plans to invest in the establishment of new greenhouses on the area of 4 hectares, more than 1.1 billion rubles, the regional authorities intend to support the project, reported in a press-service of the Governor and the regional government.

The BOTTOM NOVGOROD, 26 Jan. JSC “Agrokombinat Gorky”, the oldest enterprise on production of vegetables in the Nizhny Novgorod region, plans to invest in the establishment of new greenhouses on the area of 4 hectares, more than 1.1 billion rubles, the regional authorities intend to support the project, reported in a press-service of the Governor and the regional government.

The project will be implemented in two stages in 2015-2017. According to the Director of the enterprise Evgenia Solodev already built a modern logistics center put into operation its own bio-laboratory, which will ensure the production of its own biological objects, and will allow to refuse import analogues. In 2016 it is planned the purchase of new equipment for boiler house and runs.

Currently greenhouse complex consists of 16 hectares of winter greenhouses. In the structure of sown areas 65% cucumber, 20% tomatoes, 8% of green crops, 7% flowers.

“We have discussed with the management of the enterprise “Gorky” the program of investment support and enterprise development. The decision to provide support from the regional budget — the interest rate subsidy on loans for implementation of investment project … the Project of vegetable growing according to the technology “svetokultura” (cultivation of plants in artificial light) will double the security of the region greenhouse cucumbers”, — said the Vice-Governor Yevgeny Lyulin.

According to him, now the region produces only about 30% of the greenhouse vegetables from the needs of the region: cucumbers a little more tomato — less. “We need to ensure the substitution of the greenhouse tomato — a significant portion of the tomatoes, which were sold in the area in winter, brought home from Turkey. There are already investors that have expressed the desire to create new greenhouses for growing tomatoes in the region are considered sites in Bor, Balahna, in Krasnooktyabrsky district. We conduct negotiations”, — said the Deputy Governor.

In his view, increasing domestic agricultural production in the region is helping to curb the growth of prices for food products for customers.
